The current Privacy Policy is to inform  you how Escom Media Group deals with your personal data as an administrator and how you can control your preferences and settings.

The legal basis of the current Privacy Policy

Since May 25, 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) was implemented in Bulgaria. It is adopted by the European Union and its purpose is to synchronize  the EU Member States' policies on the collection and use of personal data. Another goal is to guarantee our right to privacy, to protect our personal data and to provide more security against the misuse of personal information of each and every one of us. The new regulation comes with a number of requirements that Escom Media Group conform with and you can read here. These include:

  • To let you know what data we use
  • To let you know why we use it
  • To ask you for your consent
  • To give you the opportunity to change your consent depending on the purpose and to guarantee your freedom
  • To guarantee that your information will be revised or deleted upon your request. In addition, we may provide you with the downloads or transfer them to you once you confirm your identity

What is personal data?

Any data that can  identify a user is considered personal data. It includes: email, name, mobile phone, home address, IP address.

What data we collect from our users?

On its website www.ufoconference-bg.com, Escom Media Group collects data for all visitors who register for participation in the conference "Contact with alien intelligence - the future of humanity and paradigm shift" or send an inquiry.  We collect data in  following categories:

Escom Media Group processes your data for the following purposes:

  • To identify a visitor who has registered to attend the Conference
  • Information provision
  • Payment of participation fee

To whom we share and disclose your personal information?

Escom Media Group does not grant the right to use,  disclose or share  your personal data to any third parties.

Your personal information is physically stored on our own servers on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria.

We have limited the access to you personal information  by Escom Media Group employees, unless there are reasonable grounds for them to deal with this information in order to provide you with certain services or in connection with the professional obligations of these employees.

We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with national standards to guard your personal information.

How long we store your personal information?

We store your personal information as long as we have a reason for this.

  • Right to restriction of processing: In certain circumstances, such as if you have doubts about the accuracy of your personal data or have objected to our legitimate ground for processing your personal data, you may request that we restrict the processing of your personal data until a solution is found.
  • Right to object: In certain circumstances, such as if you doubt our legitimate ground for processing your personal data, you have the right to object agains such processing.
  • Right to data portability: If your personal data is processed by automated means with your consent or in order to perform our contractual relationships, you may request that we provide you with your personal data in a machine readable format for transferring to another data controller.
  • Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority: You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
